⚠️ Safety
- Sodium thiosulfate + acid releases toxic sulfur dioxide — work in a ventilated area/fume cupboard and keep volumes small.
- Dilute HCl is irritant/corrosive; wear goggles and rinse any splashes.
- For the rate-vs-temperature runs, use a water bath and handle hot glassware with care; do not overheat.
- The CaCO₃ + HCl run evolves CO₂ — never seal the flask; let the gas vent through the collection tube.
- These datasets are illustrative — always label axes, plot with a sharp pencil, and draw a balanced best-fit line by eye.
