By accessing ChemAI ("Platform") and using any free tool, calculator, conversion utility, simulation, or AI assistant feature you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, discontinue use immediately.
2. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
3. Limited License
We grant you a non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable, limited license to use the free features for non-commercial, educational purposes. All rights not expressly granted remain with ChemAI.
4. Accounts & Access
- You may create an account via Firebase Authentication or use guest/anonymous access.
- You are responsible for safeguarding login credentials; notify us of suspected compromise.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations or abuse.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Exploit, probe, or circumvent security or rate limits.
- Use automated scraping at unreasonable frequency or degrade service performance.
- Upload or transmit malicious code, spam, unlawful, defamatory, or infringing material.
- Misrepresent generated outputs as certified professional advice.
- Attempt reverse engineering of proprietary logic beyond rights granted by law.
7. Intellectual Property
All trademarks, logos, service marks, interface design elements, and original content are owned or licensed by ChemAI. User-generated input (questions, formulas) remains yours, but you grant ChemAI a non-exclusive right to process it to deliver responses.
8. Third-Party Services
We integrate Firebase Authentication/Analytics and may use other APIs for enhancement. Their respective terms may also apply. We are not liable for third-party service outages or changes.
9. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate access without prior notice for: security risks, legal obligations, abusive usage, or sustained inactivity on experimental features.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE PLATFORM AND ALL FREE FEATURES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChemAI shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, nor loss of data, revenue, or reputation arising out of or related to use of the Platform, even if advised of possibility. Your sole remedy is to discontinue use.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ChemAI and its affiliates from claims arising out of your misuse, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India (without regard to conflict principles). Where consumer protection law in your jurisdiction mandates otherwise, such protections prevail. Any disputes shall be subject to the competent courts in India unless mandatory local law requires a different forum.
14. Privacy Reference
Data handling is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform you consent to that processing.
15. Feedback
Suggestions or improvement ideas submitted become non-confidential; you grant ChemAI permission to use them without obligation.
16. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failures caused by events beyond reasonable control (outages, natural disasters, regulatory changes).
17. Severability
If any provision is deemed unenforceable, remaining provisions continue in full effect.
18. Entire Agreement
